The Glorious Twelfth: Guided Tours

Bargain Hunt: Guided Tour by Birgit Medele
2pm Saturday 19 November 2005

The tour followed some literal translations of how hunting is used in German; i.e. to burn money = to hunt/chase your money through the exhaust pipe (sein geld durch den auspuff jagen), to booze all one's money away = to chase your money through your throat (sein ganzes geld durch die kehle jagen), I wouldn't eat this if you paid me = you can hunt/chase me with this food (mit diesem essen kannst du mich jagen), etc..
