"Studio Line"

Eight small colour laser copies (one for each participant showing inside the studio space) of the well known painting "The Studio" by Philip Guston, were pasted up on walls surrounding the studio building. This metaphysical enclosure was constructed under the cover of darkness, during the time of the opening, unbeknownst to the artists inside.
The PV was not attended and NO information regarding this 'action' was reported.

The sites where the images had been pasted were revisted/photographed 8 months after the event.

"Neither angel nor beast, but man"

A copy of the article 'THE TRUE ARTIST', by Robert Storr, curator of Bruce Nauman in the 24th Biennial of São Paulo, Brazil 1998, was reduced to an almost illegible typeface size - so as to fit onto an A4 sheet of paper - printed purposely blurred, and placed beneath a rubber mat installed at the threshold of the studio building at dusk on the evening of the opening before the artists showing arrived. The mat and article were removed the following morning at dawn.
No information regarding this 'action' was reported.

A copy of the actual article.
