It wasn't that I didn't make an effort today - just that when I did go out into the rain and wind (en route to the post office) all I could do was to keep looking downwards in an effort to shield my face from the weather. There seemed little likelihood of making any progress under these conditions. An insurmountable barrier seemed to have erected itself all around me.

So instead I spent the day at home trying to make some sense of previous days' activities. Firstly, [above] walking.

Then running.

Next, an experiment with circling.

And then wandering.

And finally, perhaps finding the sheer limitlessness of possibility increasingly bewildering and suffocating, I must have felt the need to bring in some kind of order. A more systematic approach seemed to have been called for; so this time I focussed my efforts on moving between mole hills. |
